FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do you serve my neighborhood?
Are you insured?
Absolutely! Petmeisters is insured through Business Insurers of North Carolina. You can take comfort in knowing that your pets and your home will be safe in our hands.
Will I meet my pet sitter?
As a new client, we require a meet and greet. The owners, Craig and Allison, and your assigned pet sitter will come over to your home so that we can all get to know each other. We will never send anyone into your home without them first meeting you or with your permission, Craig or Allison will personally bring the sitter over for a supervised visit to ensure that you and your pets are comfortable and make for a smooth transition.
Will I get updates from my pet sitter?
Yes, we strive to make your time away as relaxing and stress free as possible. We will send you updates with cute pictures and/or videos of your pets along with a narrative of the fun they are having back at home. We know how important it is to see and hear how your fur babies are doing.
What is your key policy?
We require each client to provide two keys . For your security, we do not label your key with personal information, we use our own key code system. When keys are not in use, they are stored at the Petmeisters Office under lock and key. To ensure timely visits, we do not use keys in a lock-box shared with other service providers as we require our own set of keys.
Do you wear uniforms or used marked company cars during visits?
We choose not to wear uniforms and we do not advertise on our vehicles so that we limit the visibility of you being away from the home. This is an added security measure for you, your pets and your home.
Do you have any breed restrictions?
No we do not discriminate against any breeds. We love all types of animals, large-small-furry-scaly-feathered-shy-energetic-anxious, we are happy to meet and care for them all.
