Hi! I'm Erika and I'm currently a Registered Veterinary Technician specializing in surgery, neurology, and emergency medicine. As you can imagine my job can be very stressful at times, so I made the hard decision to lessen my hours at the hospital and look for something more joyful. I've been a client of Petmeisters' for awhile so when the opportunity came up to work here, I jumped at it.
I have two fur babies of my own. Birch, who not only is my soul mate but also my special needs guy. He wasn't expected to live more than a few years at the time I brought him home. He's now 12! Then there's Catam West, who also came to me in dire straits. I brought him home and watched as he healed and blossomed into the big, beautiful, long haired cat he is today. While it seems I can perform miracles, I cannot. It all comes down to love, which can be far more healing than medicine. I treat all my patients at the clinic like my own, and I will treat yours with the same respect. When I'm not performing miracles, you can find me riding my bike (BMX because I'm cool like that), training for my next half marathon, reading ALL the books, or planning my next solo adventure in my quest to see the world. |
